Biography

Humberto Urdaneta was born in Caracas, Venezuela 36 years ago. He began his studies of painting at the age of nine. Painting beautiful landscapes, he showed his intense desire of expression. By adolescence with the guidance of his art teacher, he began to develop the traditional plastic arts techniques that allowed him to begin to structure the ideal that represents the transmission of feeling from the soul in the face of reality to the daily world. Private and corporate collectors began to admire his work. Together with his dental degree, he graduated university with honors, giving an exhibition of ninety-four original works which would be given by university authorities to his ninety-four promotion partners. His current stage began with his arrival to the United States, establishing residence in Florida. His dedication is being recognized by important local galleries, which are currenlty showing his work. Among his next goals is to take his art around the world where he hopes to share his creative expression with other artists.

Philosophy

LIBERATION OF ART FROM TRADITION
Art which is completely non-representational , or which converts forms observed in reality into patterns, are read by the spectator primarily as independent relationships, rather than with reference to the original source. The texture and resulting visceral emotions were created beneath the surface with the acrylic paint texture reflecting personal responses to the medium and becoming the subject of the work by expressing the subconscious. Texture includes drawing into the thick paint with sharp instruments.
